Protecting against nappy rash

Nappy rash is the most common dermatological condition during infancy - up to a third of babies and toddlers in nappies have nappy rash at any one time.1

Guidelines on management increasingly emphasise prevention and protection rather than symptomatic treatment. Protecting delicate infant skin with a thin layer of a suitable barrier ointment can help prevent damage from over-hydration, irritation from urine and faeces, and friction.
